Blanche and sustainability
According to recent data, the fashion industry employs an estimated 60 million people worldwide throughout the entire value chain. Due to its size, the industry has a significant social and environmental impact and the consequences of resource-intensive production and poor working conditions are enormous.
Changing the industry requires an effort from all of us and we have to revisit every step of the supply chain – from choice of material to customer care – if we are to push our industry in a more sustainable direction.
OUR VISION AND STRATEGY
Our journey towards sustainability is driven by a desire to offer fashion consumers a sustainable wardrobe in its entirety. In order to improve our sustainable performance and push tomorrow’s agenda, we are working under the headlines: reduce, longevity and fairness.
BLANCHE AND DENIM
At BLANCHE we have made some deliberate choices about which suppliers to use, where to produce and how to treat materials in order to make sustainable denim products.
CONSUMER IMPACT
Did you know that 25% of a garment ́s environmental footprint relies on how you care for it?
